PNK is another personal illustration series. Unlike the other series, this wasn’t a daily commitment. During this time, I was taking on numerous work commitments and later on, going through the most turbulent months of my life thus far–this is the reason I minimized the amount of illustrations I made in a week and tried limiting the color palettes used to just my two favorite colors: yellow and pink. I still needed a creative outlet for myself but I needed to make it more manageable. There were days I would use a wider palette of colors but on most, I would just continually practice value work using primarily monochromatic pink.
