NakuFungibleTo or NFT is a daily self-portrait series I started in May 2024 after a hiatus following DMN’s conclusion. In this project, I drew different iterations of myself everyday. Some more representative than others, and some pushing visual metaphors to extreme exaggerations–I impulsively started this project to deal with my pent-up emotions and opinions on a number of things from the past few years: NFTs, generative AI technology, online culture, and my lifelong struggles with identity and expression. The concept parallels NFTs, with a  repetitive, reused format and silhouette used for the illustrations and each piece being named a somewhat random four-digit sequence. The ideally daily creation and online publication of each illustration mimics the conveyor belt-like production and oversaturating presence of generative AI images. Lastly, besides the fact that the project involves constantly reiterating the way I represent myself through illustration, I change the profile picture of the account, adding a performative aspect to the project.
