DMN is yet another daily illustration series. This began a few months after the conclusion of PNK. After finishing the latter series, I thought I needed a break from illustrating. However, after the most turbulent months of my life, bookended by the passing of Jack, my beloved best friend–I realized that drawing has always been an integral part of expressing myself, and to bar myself from doing so at a time like that would be near impossible. So I started DMN. And unlike DAILY, I started it with a sure diaristic intention. It was my grieving process until it wasn’t. And after it wasn’t, I just continued to draw. It concluded prematurely after encountering some personal problems that influenced me to stop.
