DAILY is the first daily illustration I ever made. Inspired by the likes of Beeple and seansketches on instagram, I aimed to illustrate daily in order to continuously refine my skills as a creative. It is also the first instance wherein I consistently used a certain yellow as the background color for my artworks. It started out as a project to incrementally hone my illustration skills (especially since I switched to an iPad at that time), but later on, I noticed it had gradually become an avenue for me to document my life and express the emotions I had going through it. In a sense, it adopted a somewhat diaristic aspect as it went along. After 365 days, I concluded the project with 365 yellow squares.
